Reality check; as of today (read 16 march 2011), a liter of black gold will set you back INR 71.45. Wind the clock to roughly a month back. An extremely impulsive moment results in the heart ruling the head and I end up buying the bike which haunted my childhood dreams. (I'll write the buying experience in my next post.) India was certainly not ready for it back then. It excelled in everything anyone threw at it. Simply brilliant. In fact, the Karizma was the only premium bike you could realistically buy for a couple of years since its launch.
