With petrol prices seeing an all time high, there is very little doubt in terming it "black gold". I'm coming across a lot of threads these days with the agenda being this unquestionable increase. To the disappointment of many enthusiasts, there does not seem to be any respite from the oil honchos. However, we'll try to see the upshot of the hike too. Not so long ago, diesel cars were the choice for the economy conscious and petrols were reserved for the self-driven. But, with advancement in diesel engines, that argument no longer holds. Apart from being light on your wallet, diesels are more driveable in everyday traffic; refinement and performance are getting close by the day. As an added bonus, price of diesel is tightly regulated by the government, making it almost half the price if my beloved fuel.
