Need A Break!!
Just 15 days into May and things have happened at lightning fast speed. In the process, I have been in every possible situation. To start, I had been to my friend’s farmhouse as a kind of get together. It’s pretty far off and with public transport being hopeless, it was quite a “Boys Day Out” kind of a thing getting there (Hope you get the picture!!). I was totally exhausted, but things were about to get worse. No sleep and travel all the way back, attend some party. If you think that was enough to put me back in bed for a day, think again.
Next up, VERVE-09, an inter collegiate techno cultural fest. Quite literally the biggest event in JSSATE. As the organizer of Dumb Charades, there were a million things to do. Not to mention attending meetings, returning home at unusual timings, fasting and in process, burning calories!! Though not the fittest person around, I managed it, something to be proud about. My event was on the first day and I had made sure that I don’t miss Headbangers, the Rock show on day two. During those two days, I have gone bankrupt, got loads of cash, starved, smiled, got drenched, experienced body aches like never before, felt “behind the scenes” pressure, met some very interesting people, got lost in my thoughts, felt lonely, saw my friends getting emotional and what not!! I was even down with fever for two days after everything. You know what, I like it that way. Those two days of my life are never going to repeat, it can only happen during my student life and that too in JSS. I know it sounds very sentimental but it’s true. So, just when I think it’s time to take a break, I am wrong again.
We have another event coming up, Vidaaya-09, farewell to our seniors. So, it’s back to the drawing board to plan and make it a success. Wish me Luck!! Adieu….
