Am on BSM!!

Business Standard Motoring(BSM) is one of the leading auto magazines in the country and my favorite for one reason. It's a laugh. Just going through even the smallest news columns or the extensive roadtests, puts a smile on your face and if you are the expressive type, leaves you laughing your ass off for a long time. If you don't believe me, read it for yourself.

Since auto magazines are my idea of a perfect companion, it was only a matter of time before I expressed my opinion. So, last month, after reading a bit about the Honda Jazz and few other articles, my favorite journos had disappointed me a bit. It just did not seem right. What's the next thing do you suppose I did? Write a letter of course!! I am not going to discuss the contents of the letter here. If you want to know, read it for yourself in this month's BSM.(No, this is not a marketing strategy!!). All I can tell you is that 90% of the contents of my original letter has been published under the title "Site Seen"(original was something else).

Hope I'll have my own space and my own Lamborghini name in my favorite mag sometime in the future.

Ok, so this was a long time in the making.  One of the suggestions I got to keep fit was to start running everyday, or at least 4 times a week. It did not necessarily mean I had to torture myself or even blame myself for skipping a day or two. One of the best stories I've heard so far goes like this. In an island of great prosperity, there once lived a group of people who were self sufficient. While the elders went fishing in the morning or worked in fields, children went to school and in the evening, they would gather to talk about the day, celebrate their food, play, sing and dance. How Hard is it to Apple, Apple?

As someone who is curious about success stories, I laud Apple for their comeback in the computing world with the iPhone. Before you dismiss the article as a fanboy Writeup, my two cents would be to give it a read. This is a vague follow up to my previous post on how Blackberry and Nokia let me down with promI sing starts, but unsustainable ideas.  Without doubt, the iPhone is one of Apple's greatest achievements.  Most credit their marketing efforts to lure customers into buying them, making it a major source of revenue with iPads slowly declining in demand and iPods turning to legacy devices exclusively for fans or kids who cannot be handed over an iPhone.
