Fiction to Reality

In one of my previous posts, there was a mention about technology being helpful and how it is constantly under the criticism of the environmental freaks. This time though, the advantages are in the limelight. The idea suddenly popped up when I was having a conversation with a friend of mine, when all of a sudden the topic of "science fiction" came into picture. Movies in the 60's and 70's suggested that we would have robots doing the house work and space thrusters to reach offices on time. Although we have not developed as per their expectations or should I say, ideas, we certainly have grown by leaps and bounds. For example, if you wish to enroll yourself to an institute or an exam, no longer do you have to wait in long queues for your forms or receipts. Everything is now online and just a click away. No fancy titles this time. Chiefly because I cannot think of anything significant to write about. However, it's been quite a while since I sat down in front of my comp and put a few lines together. Something worth mentioning perhaps is that I turned 21 last week!! Hurrah!! Completely legal to make my own decisions about everything in my life. Yes, EVERYTHING!! They say in America, you only turn 21 once and make it sound like an eventful day. I din have any such emotions though and nor did I receive any surprises (which others get I must admit). Perhaps it's because of my non-happening lifestyle. Coming to my inability to update my blog. Well, put simple my comp is in need of a heart/processor transplant. I've gone to the extreme ends of suffering and even had long thoughts about how we take things for granted when they work smoothly! Lastly, I've enrolled for CAT 2009 on 28th November at 10 in the morning. The clock is ticking and every day must be put to good use. See...
