Importance of Writing

It's a rare thing to write. Some say they have not time or patience or down right interest to pen down a few thoughts that come to mind. I beg to differ though. One should not write just to express themselves, instead it helps you maintain a track of your thought process and overall ability to convey ideas/thoughts. Maintaining a diary definitely comes very close in the sense that you actually get to write how your day was, etc., Writing however goes a step beyond that. As nice it maybe to keep a track of one's thoughts, it's also very important to note how expressive you were earlier.

When I read my first blog post, to this day I burst into laughter as to how naive I was in terms of conveying my thoughts. Today, I could articulate those thoughts so much better and this definitely boosts my confidence. It helps me realise that I'm headed in the right track. While it has definitely improved my abilities to express emotions better, it's also a fantastic way to keep track of my mentality as a whole. So it's a diary with a twist! Go on, jot down those thoughts. Someday you'll look back and realise how carefree/careful you were because in retrospect things always look better. Not many like the present. We are designed to hark back to our past, dig out happiness from it. Let's not waste anymore time now shall we?
